Recently promoted Captain Cameron Beebe and Firefighter/EMT Erik DeLapp spent last week attending the annual FDIC International conference held in Indianapolis, Indiana. The week-long conference included hands-on training and classroom sessions. Our members trained on advanced auto extrication techniques, hose line advancement, and forcible entry. The classroom sessions focused on leadership, electric vehicles, lithium ion batteries, and many other topics. It was an excellent training opportunity and a great experience. To round out the week, Erik participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. He, along with over 500 other participants from 7 different countries, climbed 110 stories in honor of the men and women who gave their lives on 9/11.
