At 1:05 am, Limerick Fire Dept was dispatched for a vehicle rescue on Wartman Rd, Perkiomen Township. Reports stated the driver could not exit the vehicle after crashing into an electrical pole. Rescue 51, Chief 51, and Deputy Chief 51 responded. The driver self-extricated and Chief 51 reported that no rescue was needed. Limerick Fire Dept was recalled shortly after but units from Perkiomen Fire Company and Upper Providence remained on the scene for debris cleanup. PECO was notified.
