This morning, several members met for the monthly Sunday ropes and rigging training. The session was to build upon last month's session of lowering rescuers over an embankment. The members practiced constructing anchoring systems using pickets, a system each for the rescuer and the stokes basket. Each system incorporated a haul line, a belay line, and a change of direction off the front of a truck.

After getting all systems connected, the training was interrupted by a dispatch for a vehicle fire.
