At 10:28 pm, Limerick Fire Dept was dispatched for a building fire at the Kids First Swim in the Limerick Square Shopping Center. Ladder 51, Tower 51, Rescue 51, Assistant 51, Royersford Engine 98, and Trappe Engine 68-2 responded as well as Fire Police 51 and local police units. The caller reported seeing thick smoke coming from the roof but saw no visible flames. Once on scene, crews from Engine 51 and Engine 68-2 checked the interior and found nothing. Tower 51 staged in the back and Ladder 51 staged at the front with the ladder extended to the roof. Those crews checked the roof and reported that the smoke was exhaust coming from the HVAC unit. All units were made available about thirty minutes later.
