At 6:46 pm, Limerick Fire Dept was dispatched for a vehicle rescue at the intersection of 10th Ave and Royersford Rd. Engine 51, Rescue 51, Squad 51, Chief 51, Deputy Chief 51, and Fire Police 51 responded. Also assisting were Royersford Fire Dept Rescue 98 and Engine 98. A caller reported that the vehicle was on its side and there was an occupant inside. As fire police shut down roads surrounding the incident area, crews from both departments stabilized the overturned vehicle before extricating the occupant. Crews cleared debris and fluids, remaining on scene until the tow trucks removed both vehicles. All were made available approximately one hour later.
