Around 1:30 this afternoon, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to assist with a vehicle rescue. The incident involved 3 vehicles that were blocking a portion of South Township Line Road and the entrance / exit to the shopping center. Squad 51 and Traffic 51 responded to assist Trappe Fire Company (Station 77) and Upper Providence Fire & Rescue Services (Station 68). On arrival the crew from Squad 51 was asked to assist with manpower. The crew also assisted with clearing up debris, securing the vehicles batteries and controlled leaking fluids on the roadway. Fire Police assisted by directing traffic around the scene.
