Limerick Fire Department Responds to Multiple Calls

Limerick Fire Department responded to two additional calls while they were assisting with an out of County structure fire. Around 8:20 p.m. the Department was dispatched for manpower to assist the police with a search. Soon after the Department was dispatched, police advised Chief 51 that both children had been located. At 8:25 p.m., Montgomery County Dispatch notified Chief 51 of a fire alarm activation at Bengal Paper on Main Street in the Linfield section of the Township. Engine 51, Ladder 51 and Air 51 had been released and were returning from Chester County and responded to the scene. On arrival Chief 51 advised of a waterflow activation. As the trucks arrived on scene, crews from the Ladder and Engine checked the offices and warehouses.
