Limerick Fire Department was dispatched this morning during rush hour traffic for a vehicle accident with injuries. The call was quickly upgraded to a vehicle rescue, as a vehicle crossed over from the westbound lane into the eastbound lane. Route 422 was shutdown while crews from Limerick Fire Department (Rescue 51) and Upper Providence Township Fire and Rescue (Engine 68) extricated one individual from the vehicle. Trappe Ambulance (324), Friendship Ambulance of Royersford (325) and the Pennsylvania State Police also responded. |
