The Limerick Fire Department helped Hydromotion Inc. (a Tesas Hydraulics Inc. company) of Spring City celebrate 50 years of operation. Hydromotion manufactures an integral part for aerial apparatus called a swivel. The swivel transfers electric, hydraulic, and aerial masterstream from and body to the aerial ladder while allowing the aerial to freely rotate 360 degrees. Tower 51 contains Hydromotion's most complex model. LFD members were able to tour the facility while plant worker got to see their product in operation.
