Friday, September 24th, marked the final day of the Pennsylvania Firefighter's Association meetings and training classes. The FASP Ladies Auxiliary presented several awards during their meeting today. Congratulations to all the award recipients. Today's featured trainer was Nick Martin of Combat Ready Fire Training. Nick presented his Strategy and Tactics course for the attendees. Limerick Fire Department would like to thank Nick for his time, professionalism and fire ground operation discussions. Department members continued final preparations and plans for tomorrows parade, while responding to several fire calls, throughout the day. Open houses and tours were available at both stations for convention and parade attendees, to see the stations and purchase souvenirs. Limerick Fire Department would like to thank North Penn Fire Company for providing standby coverage this evening and assisting on a call as they were arriving for their standby assignment. The Department would like to congratulate our very own Steph Rumler, Firefighter / Quartermaster a very Happy Birthday. Members of the Department were able to celebrate this occasion with a cake during parade preparations.
