Limerick Fire Department's Firefighter Day Camp for Individuals with Special Needs 

Saturday, October 14, 2023 1st session: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. OR 2nd session: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

All disabilities welcome, school age through adult! 

Why try this Camp? Attendees will: ►Learn fire safety you thought you knew & then apply what you’ve learned ►Learn about the fire house, trucks (apparatus), and personnel ►Hands-on with various equipment ►Hoses-proper techniques to connect to the hydrant, flow water, roll up, etc. ►Extinguishers-the ABC’s, smoke detectors (their noise and purpose) ►Rescue tools during simulated live demonstrations ►Recognize fire gear-bunker pants, jacket, helmet, safety gloves & glasses…..and so much more!
